John Waite is a small business owner and strong community leader for the Downtown district and Northeast neighborhood. He has served on the Downtown Business Improvement District board and is the current chair of the Spokane Regional Cable Advisory Board.
John has been a small business owner for 20 years and manages two commercial properties downtown. He hosts a weekly radio show titled “Make Government Work” on KYRS Thin Air Community Radio.
A Spokane resident since 1973, John graduated from North Central in 1983. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in education and humanities from Eastern Washington University, then became a teacher and high school volleyball coach in District 81.
